Campus Café is integrated with Moodle
For learning management, Campus Cafe can leverage the power of the Moodle community to offer its clients the market leader for creating online courses.
Moodle is a web-based Learning Management System that allows its users to create internet based courses. Moodle is provided freely as Open Source software (under the GNU Public License), and is continually enhanced by a community of developers. It is currently used by more than 50,000+ organizations in 210 countries. These organizations offer almost 3 million courses to 32 million users.
In many cases, schools will use Moodle to extend beyond the traditional classroom environment:
- Weekly lesson plans
- Class announcements
- Student collaboration forums
- Online assignment submission
The Integration of Moodle with Campus Café streamlines this process of creating courses and adding students so that you can spend more time on academics and less time on administration.
Courses: Any courses that are marked in Campus Café as “online” are automatically created in Moodle.
Users: Courses usually have several user types, including a primary teacher, secondary teacher, student, teacher’s assistant and audit students.
Enrollments: Class rosters are constantly changing. All of your enrollment records are managed centrally in Campus Café and updated to Moodle.
Grades: Faculty can manage their grade books in Moodle. Mid-term and final grade information is updated in Campus Café.
Single Sign-On: Campus Cafe can be configured to enable single sign-on so users don't need separate passwords or need to login in to each application separately.
With integration to Campus Café, schools will no longer have to create, or manage, courses in two separate systems. Your faculty can spend less time on administration, and more time on academics.
